I was so worried and nervous about my presentation at my office and I bugged Mr Limbo to read through my notes. He tried to calm me down all day. During my presentation, I froze up once and stumbled a little over myself resulting in a couple of earfuls from the supervising director. However, I think I showed that I put a lot of content and work into the presentation and I tried to take my time and sound as calm as possible. He told me I did a job well done, and I felt very proud of myself (with help from Mr Limbo).
My work was generally pretty good today.
I had woken up at 2am earlier and worked without sleep and then after work... I met Mr Limbo for a short while before I went with my salsa classmate, C, to a latin dance club. Wow, it's really sexy to watch the people dance Salsa, Chacha and Bachata. They were people of all ages and the guys were really good at leading. How I wish I got a boyfriend who would learn latin dancing with me.
At first it was a little awkward as C was very soft and was confusing when he was leading me to dance. He is a few years younger than me. Then a female classmate came along, K, and another guy classmate, R, came and we switched partners. R was, I think, a better lead because he was very confident and assertive. He is quite cute except for the playboy look. By the end of night though, it felt like us begineers had all improved greatly.
Whatever it is, I had SOO much fun tonight. I've not had so much fun in ages, where I could just let loose and laugh and try all sorts of moves. It is nice to meet adventurous friends with the same interests. I actually forgot all my problems for the whole time I was dancing. I kept getting twirled a lot of times until I was semi-dizzy and I hope I get better at following the guy's lead.
