F's birthday present

F's birthday is later this month so I wanted to do something for her. I'm not very good with physical presents so I rented a car and drove to Geelong to stay for a night.

First day:
Adventure Park, Victoria's first water park. It was okay. I mean, the mini golf and the paddle floating bicycle was fun but there were way too few rides for the $33 pass. F said she liked it though.

Accomodation: Geelong Conference Centre. I actually picked this one because it had a hot jacuzzi and some games in the lobby. The beds were really comfy~

Dinner was at a pub/restaurant/tabaret called The Sphinx. I used to beg my ex K to take me there when I couldn't drive, but he and my ex-housemate told me it's Geelong so there's nothing there. Well, I finally went there after 3 years!! I actually liked the place. The whole thing looked like a mini version of a Macau casino. Heheh.. There was a huge sphinx on the building and the decor was so Ancient Egypt. We had duck risotto and fish of the day. Pretty yummm stuff! I do wish the food was themed as well haha~

Ended up drinking Cascade Greens in the hotel room. Haha.. it was crazy..  I was tipsy and playing ping pong. I tied all my hair at the top of my head like a pineapple and pretended to be some retarded drunk anime character while F pretended to be someone retarded cute. We came up with silly poses while playing to distract the other person from winning haha. And then I realised there was a CCTV camera...... T_T

Second day:
Drove around, did some sight-seeing and we bought 5kgs of mussels to bring home. Pretty cool huh? We got boxes full of veggies and fruits for really cheap. Watermelon was going at 39 cents a kilo.Went to a market and had these yum yum baked potatoes with everything on top. Colourful airbrush tattoos: I got a Southern Cross on my chest and F got a gecko on hers~

Went to the Werribee Open Range Zoo cos they had a Rhythm of Africa night. F and I enjoyed seeing the mostly African animals and I bought a tiger hair band haha. A little kinky huh? :P There was African food, African live music, dance, stores. I had pink and light brown braided into my hair teehee~ I miss B, my Guinea friend~

It looked like it was gonna rain so we left a little a early, drove home and bought some prawns and barramundi from Safeway. Went home and cooked some of the mussels and grilled the rest. It was beautiful although we had trouble keeping the fire alarm under control.

Anyway, I hope F enjoyed her birthday present. I'm so buggered from driving around!
